How to Stop Period Cramps

50% of women experience pain during their menstrual cycle. Though it is common, there are things that can be done to lessen and prevent the cramps from occurring.

1. Calcium & Magnesium

Cal-Mag reduces PMS symptoms such as cramping and low mood. Magnesium works for muscle relaxation which then relaxes the smooth muscle around the uterus, decreasing cramping.

2. Potassium

Potassium deficiencies are very common and too little potassium causes muscle cramping which is the last thing you want during your time of the month.

3. DIM

DIM is known to reduce heavy bleeding and period pain.

4. Vitamin B1

Reduces pain and intensity.

5. Vitamin B6

Helps breakdown and metabolize estrogen in the body.
